Terms And Conditions Of Sale

Chester County Trees grows and sells healthy evergreen trees. We do dig and wrap the ball in burlap and a wire cage, but we do not deliver or plant our trees. You, the buyer, must arrange for the pickup, transporting and planting of the trees. We are able to recommend a local tree planting company to you or coordiante the service for you.

Our obligation to you and tree guarantee includes only the sale of healthy trees and ends at the point where you pick up or arrange to pick up your trees. Tree pickup, transporting, delivery, planting, staking, mulching, watering and all aftercare is your responsibility.

Terms: All sales are C.O.D. All trees and plants accepted by the buyer must be paid in full upon pickup or delivery. We reserve the right to cancel any part or all of any order in the event of crop loss, damage, or shortages. All orders are subject to government regulations, weather, and all conditions beyond our reasonable control. We reserve the right to request a 50% deposit on all orders before digging begins.

Pickup or Delivery: Plants become your property upon pickup or delivery. We will not be responsible for the condition of plants that are not picked up within seven days of customer notification that the order is ready. Customer owned trucks need to supply adequate tree support at rear of truck or trailer, proper strapping and suitable tarp to protect trees during transit.

Guarantee: If any tree or plant is proven to be untrue to name or not healthy prior to planting, we will replace such tree or plant or refund the amount paid. Claims for any cause must be made promptly upon receipt of trees or plants. We will not entertain claims after trees or plants have been accepted. Our liability does not exceed the dollar amount received by us for trees or plants in question. We give no warranty, expressed or implied, as to description, quality, productiveness, or any other matter, of any tree or plant we sell.

Note: Chester County Trees is not responsible or liable for any third party services or disputes after the trees are removed from our field.

Cancellations: We must receive any cancellation request in reasonable time before the expected digging date. If you cancel your order of any tree or plant already dug, you are responsible for its total value and you will be billed accordingly.

Prices quoted on this website replace all previous quotes and are subject to change without notice.

All orders are booked and processed on the distinct understanding that the buyer understands and agrees to the terms and conditions of sale as stated above.
