Chester County Trees - Terms And Conditions Of Sale

All trees are fresh dug and secured in burlap wrap and wire basket to help protect the tree ball in transport from our field to customer location. All trees are guaranteed to remain healthy for one year.

All tree services provided by Chester County Trees, such as digging, transporting and planting are guaranteed by Chester County Trees or other tree service associate. When damage or loss of a tree is deemed the fault of Chester County Trees or other tree service associate, the guarantee will include the replacement of the damaged tree and the same tree services for damaged tree according to Chester County Trees guarantee or other tree service guarantee or both.

Chester County Trees will deliver and plant trees up to 8' and 9' tall. Our tree service associate(s) will deliver and plant trees from 9' up to 17' and 18' tall. Customer may make other arrangements for the loading, transporting (delivery) and planting of trees. Chester County Trees is able to recommend a local tree delivery and planting associate for customer upon request. Chester County Trees will arrange for and coordinate the tree delivery and planting of trees greater than 9' for customer upon request.

Tree staking, mulching, watering and all aftercare is the responsibility of customer. Chester County Trees or other tree delivery and planting associate will stake and mulch trees for customer upon request.

Guarantee: One full year. If any tree or plant is proven to be untrue to name or not healthy, Chester County Trees will replace such tree or plant or refund the amount paid for such tree or plant. Claims for any cause must be made within one year from receipt of such trees or plants. Chester County Trees will not entertain claims due to negligance of customer or other service provider for customer including pickup, delivery or planting or other third party services. Chester County Trees liability does not exceed the dollar amount received by Chester County Trees for such trees or plants in question.

Chester County Trees is not responsible or liable for any third party services or disputes after the trees are removed from our field by such party.

Terms: All sales are C.O.D. All trees and plants accepted by customer must be paid in full upon pickup or delivery. Chester County Trees reserves the right to cancel any part or all of any order in the event of crop loss, damage, or shortages. All orders are subject to government regulations, weather, and all conditions beyond our reasonable control.

Customer Pickup Orders: Trees become your property upon pickup. At the time the trees are picked up by customer, customer agrees that trees are fresh dug and in good health and not guaranteed to survive any further environmental, accidents, mishandling, planting or unforseen weather or aftercare conditions as it is the responsibility of customer to make sure the trees are carefully handled correctly and provided good aftercare such as tree staking, mulching, fencing and watering as applicable or necessary thereafter. Chester County Trees may, under certain circumstances, determine that a tree merits replacement due to no obvious fault of customer.

Chester County Trees will not be responsible for the condition of trees that are not picked up within seven days of customer notification that the order is ready. Customer owned, leased, or rented trucks need to supply adequate tree support at rear of truck and/or trailer, proper strapping and suitable tarp to protect trees during transit.

Tree Overstock And Sale Price: Tree, bush or any plant discount or sale price includes tree, bush or plant cost only. Tree, bush or plant delivery and planting cost is calculated based on the tree, bush, or plant regular price schedule at time of order.

Cancellations: Chester County Trees must receive a cancellation request in reasonable time before the expected digging date for a full refund. If customer cancels an order of any tree(s) already dug and not delivered, customer may be charged up to 25% of tree cost for restock and handling fee and refunded accordingly.

Returns: After a tree is delivered, a tree may be returned or refused for 25% of tree cost plus delivery cost for restock and handling fee and refunded accordingly.

Payment: Chester County Trees accepts cash, check, or money order for payment. Chester County Trees does not accept credit card payment. A 50% deposit (down payment) is required on all orders before digging begins. After deposit, an invoice will be generated and emailed or mailed to summarize the entire agreement and balance due upon delivery.

Prices quoted on this website replace all previous quotes and are subject to change without notice.

All orders are booked and processed on the distinct understanding that customer understands and agrees to the terms and conditions of sale as stated above.
